Have questions about robotic process automation? Find answers at #HylandRPA Twitter Chat

The robots are coming! The robots are coming!

Strike that. They’re already here.

Don’t be scared. They’re here to help. They’re fine doing all the boring stuff.

What is robotic process automation?

Before we go any further, let’s get on the same page for our definition of robotic process automation (RPA). At Hyland, we see it as tools that leverage bots or digital workers to help automate manual, high-volume, repetitive tasks – especially when human touch doesn’t add additional value.

Already out in the field, robotic process automation is helping in industries like these:

  • Healthcare: Delivering more accurate electronic patient records, streamlining front and back-office processes, and reducing errors and costs
  • Financial services: Freeing users from repetitive tasks that don’t require analysis to complete, empowering them to focus on customers, members, and clients
  • Insurance: Processing claims and sensitive data without human intervention, reducing the risk of exposure while enabling defensible audit trails, and improving information security and compliance

Together, they’ll be answering all questions RPA, including:

  • What should your organization look for in an RPA tool?
  • What’s the biggest mistake organizations make when they introduce robotic process automation?
  • What’s the future of this technology?

The revolution will be “televised”

The robotic process automation twitter chat takes place December 14 at 12 p.m. ET.

  1. Robotic process automation use cases are expanding and evolving globally. I hope that this chat extends their topics to other use cases like RPA in the public sector, insurance, logistics, media, pharma, etc. This helps the participants to improve their understanding of what they can do by means of automated processes more efficiently than they can do with human employees. Thank you for sharing!
