5 fantastic reasons to attend TechQuest

In July, an estimated 100 OnBase customers and partners will saddle up their horses and visit the old Wild West.

Okay, actually they’ll be at Hyland HQ in Westlake, OH, attending TechQuest, a five-day technical training conference taking place from July 15 – 20. But there will be plenty of cowboy hats.

Have you ever attended TechQuest? If not, I highly recommend it! Past attendees have described it as “full of excellent information” and “a great networking opportunity.”

One OnBase System Administrator even said, “TechQuest is like Christmas for me.”

With more than 70 hands-on training sessions, there are invaluable resources for everyone. Whether you’re an end user, a system administrator, or a manager, you’ll lasso a whole heap of ideas.

The top 5TechQuest

Here are my top 5 reasons to attend TechQuest:

1. Learn about OnBase 18 enhancements

Get interactive, hands-on experience with some of OnBase’s powerful new modules, features, and enhanced functionality. Many sessions highlight the latest and greatest of OnBase 18, which is on it’s way.

Take a look at the TechQuest agenda, and I’m sure you’ll find plenty of sessions that catch your eye.

2. Renew your certification

Stay current by renewing your OnBase certification. If you can’t come every year, I recommend at least attending every other year in order to recertify and stay up-to-date with OnBase’s ever-growing solutions and capabilities.

3. Self-paced Labs

You will undoubtedly learn a lot about OnBase, and with nearly 30 self-paced labs, you can practice and expand upon what you’ve learned, going at your own pace. You can also try out new products and functionalities to see if they fit in your solution.

4. Learn ways to enhance your solution

TechQuest is an amazing opportunity to learn, no matter your position or level of expertise. Talking with attendees allows you to hear success stories and lessons learned, and most likely, you’ll meet someone who has implemented a solution you’re considering, and can share their experiences with you.

There are also expert stations where you can discuss your solution with Hylanders.

5. Have fun!

Every year, TechQuest has a different theme – there’s been New Orleans zombies, steampunk … and this year’s theme is the old Wild West!

Giddy up and go to the evening events, where you can get to know fellow attendees, network, and create lasting memories. TechQuest makes OnBase technical training a fun, memorable, rootin’ tootin’ experience.
