Can’t wait to get to San Francisco: #GuidewireConnections
Biking the Golden Gate Bridge, whale watching and a visit to Alcatraz were only a few of my favorite memories from my summer vacation with 15 of my family members. As I continue to crisscross the globe, I’m happy to be heading back to the same great city, where I will get to bike across the amazing bridge again with our customer, Earthquake Commission (EQC), and attend my favorite insurance show.
As you can tell, I’m excited to be preparing with our global insurance team for the Guidewire Connections conference in San Francisco, just a few short days from now.
I can already feel the energy building as my heart rate increases when I think about the five days we will have together with insurance industry leaders from around the world. Guidewire Connections has become the premier gathering where leading insurers and best-of-breed technology vendors meet.
It is a privilege to be in attendance – an event in which every single attendee has purpose in defining the future of an industry that is so critical to society.
It’s worth noting that Guidewire and Hyland are very similar in that both companies focus on delivering relevant software that Property and Casualty (P&C) insurers need to adapt and succeed in a time of rapid industry change. We are both leaders in an industry where it is critical to deploy solutions that are agile and flexible.
Our combined solutions create one platform to drive digital transformation to enhance insurers’ ability to empower their employees to focus on the customer journey and improve business outcomes. All while providing an Omni-channel, customer-centric experience, giving them competitive advantage that is leap years ahead of most of their competitors. So I’m excited to share this with attendees.
Valuable insights from world-renowned experts
I also have high expectations for all that we will learn from the planned keynote speakers:
- Adaptation
No doubt that Marcus Ryu, Guidewire’s CEO and Co-Founder, will deliver a set of impactful messages throughout the conference focused on trends influencing the industry. Ryu has a deep understanding of the insurance market and is a visionary for what insurers need to do to adapt and succeed in the ever-changing insurance landscape.
- Innovation
Certainly, today’s insurance leaders need to be champions of innovation to successfully lead their organizations in tumultuous times where innovation is expected daily. Sir Ken Robinson, well-known author, speaker and international advisor on education in the arts will deliver a keynote on how to lead a culture of innovation.
- Humanizing technology
Everyone’s favorites will also include the customer keynotes, where leading insurers will tell their stories, including: How to humanize technology, how solutions allow their organization to be there for customers, the “Next Big Things” for an industry that is poised at the edge of great technological shift and how to use predictive analytics to harness data for improved decision-making.
Beyond the keynotes, attendees will have an array of relevant topics across this year’s agenda to ensure that learning is at an all-time high while at Guidewire Connections this year. You will hear from insurers and industry experts who will deliver and discuss high-valued messages about transformation, the cloud, the digital experience and more. Sessions you will not want to miss.
And it’s all in San Francisco, one of the greatest cities in the world.
