The weekly recap: May 18
Whoa. Another week gone by. Before you know it, it’s going to be June!
I hope you had a great week. Here’s what we were up to.
The Hyland Blog
- Artificial intelligence is here. And our data capture expert Jaclyn Inglis tells you how and where you can use it to improve business processes.
She does mention the phrase robotic process automation, but doesn’t predict any terminators in the near future, so we’ve still got that going for us.
- Dimensional Insight and HIMSS Analytics recently surveyed healthcare organizations to ascertain the state of revenue cycle management (RCM). Amazingly, survey respondents listed no fewer than 15 different systems – from EMRs to niche solutions – they use to manage the revenue cycle.
Read highlights of the report by one of our healthcare experts, Julie Fogel.
- Aha! Did I stump you in the latest edition of 2 truths and 1 lie?
So far, there’s been one answer. It was close – and technically correct – but there is still one statement out there that’s a whopper …
Be first to answer, be forever famous.
- After enjoying a great HIMSS18 in Las Vegas earlier this year, the Hyland Healthcare team is looking forward to making the trip across the pond for the HIMSS Europe and Health 2.0 conference later this month.

My favorite thing this week
- We need more people in the world like Allison Closs. Last Friday, she brought a cardboard cutout of Danny DeVito to prom.
Allison said she did it to amuse her classmates.
Mission accomplished. Especially when she picked him up and shoved him into her car. #classicprommoment
Have a great weekend everyone!
