Friends, I have great news! OnBase 18 Week is coming!

  • Improvements for healthcare
  • Enhancements to reporting dashboards
  • Enhancements to revenue cycle management
  • How it helps you achieve FIPS 140-2 compliance
  • Important advancements in security

We’ll even detail our robust online training classes. It’s gonna be awesome.

Meanwhile, here’s what we were up to this week.

The Hyland Blog

  • Security is a serious topic, especially for organizations using the cloud to store and share information.

That’s why Hyland’s very own cloud specialist, Tori Ballantine, details five ways to ensure your information is safe from digital intruders. If you use the cloud, you need to read it!

  • Are you heading to CommunityLIVE in September? You should. There are many reasons, including more than 350 sessions, chances to network with more than 2,000 of your peers, and opportunities to engage with more than 400 content services professionals.

If that isn’t enough, we just announced our general session speakers. We’ll hear from Bill Priemer, our CEO and President; Brenda Kirk, Hyland’s Executive Vice President & Chief Product & Strategy Officer; Ed McQuiston, our Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer; and Mel Robbins, author of The 5 Second Rule – the world’s No. 1 audiobook in 2017 and one of the top-five –most-read books on Amazon.

  • Want to know what being a Software Developer is like?

Check out Gyasi Linje’s video that details his life as a Developer at Hyland. If it looks like something you’re interested in, and you have the right stuff, it might be just the motivation you need to apply.

  • Want to know what it’s like to live the #HylandLife?

Check out a great video starring Alana Coticchia, our Social Media Team Lead, as she shows you how much fun it is to take part in the Hy-5, our annual race and walk in support of Northeast Ohio hospital system MetroHealth.

Hyland news

  • This week, we published a State of Accounts Payable 2018 Report entitled Findings Reveal a Need for Increased Visibility and Control.

The research highlights how automation technology addresses AP professionals’ biggest challenge: The need for better visibility and process control.

  • Also this week, OnBase Mackinac enabled the first seamless, secure digital exchange of data between a healthcare payer and provider.

MetroHealth and Medical Mutual are the first organizations to go live with this new software solution, which increases collaboration, accelerates processes, and reduces costs. These innovative organizations can now securely exchange data and documents – without any faxes!

My fav thing of the week

I missed a flight connection returning home from Hyland last night (I’m a remote employee) and I had an early flight this morning, so I had the pleasure of trying to sleep in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport while 300 people washed the floors, drove carts around, and basically banged on things. So I’m too exhausted to come up with the joke here.

Therefore, I would like you, dear readers, to come up with a good one for Mayor Sweet Tart. A cat. Seriously.

Best joke wins the admiration of tens of thousands of readers. Good luck!
