The weekly recap: February 8 | Tenacity

When I believe in something, I never give up. While that sometimes drives the people around me a little crazy, there’s nothing I can do.

But when you utilize this type of tenacity – dare I say, passion – in the right ways at your organization, you can turn it into something magical.

Not unicorn magical. I’m talking business magical. Like creating the first computer, coming up with the idea for intermittent windshield wipers, or even developing the curved shower curtain bar for hotel rooms where you don’t want said curtains anywhere near you.

Now, the news.

The Hyland Blog

  • HIMSS19 is about to begin! And once again, healthcare interoperability will be a central topic.

Our theme this year is “See your whole patient.” It’s all about enhancing your EMR or other core clinical application with unstructured content that resides in data silos, helping to complete the patient picture by placing comprehensive medical information at the fingertips of key healthcare stakeholders.

  • Digital transformation comes with growing pains. But fear not, intrepid innovators, we have advice.

With robotic process automation, you empower your IT department to manage the surge of data and the proliferation of business applications you develop to utilize that data. Not only that, RPA also helps speed processes, reduce errors, and allow your staff to focus on high-value tasks.

  • The next best thing to searching in a single place is searching from a single place. This is where enterprise search comes in handy.

Yet another insightful post by Dennis Chepurnov, this time he details how the right enterprise search tool will enhance many business processes across your organization, saving time and empowering users with information.

Fav thing of the week: Tenacity

  • We know you’re a thought leader. That’s why you’re here. Therefore, I apologize for the self-promotion.

But when you work on a project for a decade, and the results surpass your wildest dreams, ya gotta go for it.

Our most recent tech advice series will now come in the form of a bi-weekly comic strip. We hope it will help you share your innovative vision and inspire others. Because sometimes, all it takes is a little laugh to help see the light.

Follow your dreams with tenacity and have a great weekend!
