Highlights from the newest Hyland releases in Q4

Hyland releases in Q4

The year is coming to an end, but that doesn’t slow things down at Hyland. Year round, we are dedicated to focusing 100 percent of our time and research and development on building technology that helps our customers succeed — not just today, but into the future.

We want you to know you can count on consistent, impactful releases of new features and solutions for your users. At the same time, we work to make sure we expand and update our offerings in a way that sets up your IT department for success when the time comes to build, integrate, deploy and support modern content services applications.

Even though the calendar year — and in some cases the fiscal year — is coming to a close, our work to deliver the most value for our customers across our content services offerings continues. As we head toward the last few weeks of 2021, we want to share a high-level look at some of the new features and enhancements released this quarter:

Hyland Content Portal

This new solution acts as an integrated portal for enhancing digital services and stakeholder experiences for AP departments, governmental agencies and higher education institutions. The Hyland Content Portal connects to Hyland’s content service platform with a modern, external-facing portal experience that provides online forms, document upload and tracking, workflow and reports — ultimately improving the self-service experience for vendors, constituents and students.

Hyland Healthcare

Improvements to Hyland Healthcare Enterprise Imaging solutions include enhancements to two key offerings: the NilRead universal viewer and Acuo Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA). An enhanced Acuo Admin Portal provides a zero-footprint, web-based UI that improves the experience for administrators and makes it easier to manage the day-to-day quality control and admin workflows of their VNA. Enhancements to the NilRead viewer include enhanced integrations with EPIC, video editing and patient portal enhancements.

Alfresco platform updates

Hyland’s Alfresco platform has seen a plethora of updates to help customers expand and maximize their content services investment. This includes new and enhanced connectors for both Microsoft Teams and SAP Cloud, so organizations can improve collaboration while creating a more integrated solution map than ever before.

On top of that, support for Elasticsearch enables true enterprise-wide search with improved scalability and index management, while mobile improvements and streamlined tools simplify the reviewing and bulk uploading of images for a remote and traveling workforce.

Nuxeo Platform updates

Hyland’s Nuxeo Platform also received a wide range of enhancements. Updates to Nuxeo Insight offer improved user account security, gamification elements and additional reporting to maximize the user experience and organizations’ use of AI, trained on business-specific machine learning models.

With new and improved connectors to systems like Outlook, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Cloud and more, Nuxeo customers can strengthen user productivity while getting the most out of their core applications. Plus, enhancements to Nuxeo Studio allow admins to more quickly and easily deploy new client projects.

We’re committed to innovation

At Hyland, we know you rely on your solution provider to be a partner in your innovation. It’s critical to your success. That’s why we do everything we can to bring bigger, better ideas for digital transformation with each release — and we keep them coming from one end of the calendar to the next.
