The weekly recap: March 16

Another week has passed, meaning we’re one week closer to summer – at least here in the U.S. And I, for one, can’t wait. What was with all that snow?

In case you were busy shoveling and missed the action – New England, I’m looking in your direction – check out the great content over on our other blog, and some great news:

The Hyland Blog

Wondering if you should attend our awesome end user conference that will bring together more than 2,000 content services experts? You should, according to Amy Maxey, Team Lead of Hyland strategic events.

Wondering if you should take advantage of the early-bird rate? You should.

Will you learn A LOT while having a good time? You will.

  • Are you hesitant when it comes to change? I am.

But in these ever-changing times, where technology advances every day, doing great things like putting important information in the hands of people when and where they need it, we need to embrace change. Communication is key to making sure people know how their lives and jobs will improve.

  • HIMSS18: That’s a wrap.

Wow, what a whirlwind HIMSS18 was. Read this wrap-up by Healthcare Content Manager Julie Fogel to see why the time for healthcare organizations to capitalize on digital transformation is now.

Hyland news

  • We’re extremely proud that Debbie Connelly, Hyland’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources, received the inaugural Great Place to Work® For All Leadership Award! The award honors female leaders from organizations on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® and 100 Best Workplaces for Women lists.

Congrats, Debbie!

My favorite thing this week

  • Ah, the madness, it is upon us! I hope you filled out your brackets, because the games have begun.

If you’re looking for a ‘winning’ strategy, do what I do: Don’t watch any college basketball games until the tournament starts, and pick your winners based on how they usually perform. Or just go with teams that wear blue uniforms.

Have a great weekend everyone!
