HIMSS 14: Battling Imperfection with Technology

“Wiggle room” is a luxury that belongs to other industries. In Healthcare, we pay for mistakes with lives. Not only do we have to be confident in our abilities, but in our training, our tools and our technology.

That’s why so many of us attend HIMSS each year – we’re driven to stay current and keep evolving. We also need to ensure that our solutions support the processes and procedures we depend on every day. At HIMSS, it’s about finding ways to make what works work better.

It’s also about discovering new technologies that allow us to complete tasks in less time and with more accuracy – helping us work better, with less “wiggle.”

We will never be perfect. We are, after all, only human. But, this week at HIMSS 14, I look forward to discovering the new ideas, methodologies and technology that will help us all be a little less imperfect.

Onward, indeed.
