Why Heinen’s attends #CommunityLIVE

You might be wondering why you should attend Hyland’s awesome annual user conference, CommunityLIVE. Well, I am here as a non-Hylander to tell you.

Regardless of where you are on your journey, there is something you can take away from attending CommunityLIVE. You might be like me when I first attended and only had a basic enterprise content management solution that was really just a digital filing cabinet.

See what’s possible

If that’s the case, after only a few sessions, you can look into the future and realize how much your system is capable of. You will be armed to the teeth with solutions to the challenges your organization is facing. You can find out how your Hyland solution is able to grow with your organization, and you will become the “go-to” person whenever someone wants to streamline a process.

If you have an established solution you should also attend. Even as a seasoned veteran, you can benefit from finding out what’s new and what is coming in the future. You know there is always room for improvement and it’s just a matter of time before you need to tackle another challenge.

CommunityLIVE will help you build your roadmap for the future of your solution. Whether you’re looking to improve your customer experience, find out about content services, or are charting your organization’s digital transformation, you’ll find the answers to your questions at CommunityLIVE.

Year after year, there is always a moment for me when I find out about functionality we already have that I wasn’t aware of. Or I learn about a new module that will fix a problem we’re trying to address.

Learn from your peers

For those in areas outside of IT, CommunityLIVE is the perfect place to experience what content services is all about. You are surrounded by knowledgeable experts and have many opportunities to network with peers. I love meeting others in the retail industry to see how they’re applying Hyland solutions at their organizations.

The only thing that might be more fun is when I’m talking to someone in a completely unrelated industry who has addressed a challenge that I’m currently wrestling with.

For example, without the relationship we developed with fellow Cleveland company, Sherwin Williams, we probably would not have realized how beneficial WorkView is. Sherwin Williams generously met with us, demonstrated their WorkView solution, and showed us the value it could bring to Heinen’s.

Explore Cleveland

Hopefully, you’re as excited as I am that the conference is in Cleveland this year. We might not be as flashy as Vegas, but Cleveland has more to offer than you might realize. Regardless of how you like to have fun, Cleveland has something to offer.

No longer are we the mistake by the lake. Cleveland has bounced back from its rust belt days and has a vibrant downtown and surrounding areas. For me, it doesn’t get any better than spending time at Edgewater Beach with my dogs.

Do you like craft beer? If so, you came to the right place, friend. Throw a stone in any direction and you’ll probably hit a brewery. You can also head to East 4th where we have some amazing restaurants and bars.

I might be a little biased, but I also think you should check out the downtown Heinen’s store. Based in the historic Cleveland Trust Rotunda Building, you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re looking for culture, check out Playhouse Square, the second-largest performing arts center in the United States, right behind Lincoln Center in New York. You can also check out the Museum of Art or any of our other museums.

I hope that any trepidation you might have had about attending CommunityLIVE or visiting Cleveland has been thoroughly quashed. Attending this event will bring value to you in whatever role you have.

You will return to your organization energized, full of knowledge, and you’ll be telling your friends, “Cleveland is actually pretty darn cool!”

I look forward to meeting you in September.

Editor’s note: Hyland would like to congratulate Heinen’s for recently being chosen as the No. 3 best supermarket in the country by Consumer Reports!
