User experience highlights at #CommunityLIVE 2017

Many software companies talk about “user experience” and “UX,” but in true Hyland fashion, we don’t just want to talk the talk. We want to show you.

This year with OnBase 17, the user experience went through big changes and updates. And at CommunityLIVE 2017, UX is in the spotlight once again. There will be tons of options for those who want to learn more about how the user experience continues to improve, and what you can do with your own solutions.

Whether you’re coming early for advanced training or joining us for the condensed conference, there are plenty of ways to learn about user experience for all our solutions.

From people seeing OnBase for the first time to experienced administrators, there are classes for every level of expertise.

Check out these user-experience-centered courses while you build your schedule for the week:

1. OnBase 101: The End User Experience

Sunday and Monday, 9:30 a.m. – Noon

This hands-on course for true first-timers will introduce you to the essential concepts of OnBase, and take you on a tour of the major functional areas from a user perspective. You’ll learn about the different clients, how they align with user needs, and the capabilities available to users and process owners.

You’ll also explore the options available to customize the experience, learn how OnBase fits alongside other applications, and discover the products and functionality that help create a business solution.

2. User Testing, Training and Migration Best Practices

Tuesday 2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

Have you tested enough? How many environments do you have? When do you migrate? How much training is enough? Who is doing the training? Who is writing your test cases? Now that you’ve completed implementation, are you thinking about the user acceptance testing, training, and migration plans you have in place?

This session will provide Hyland’s best practices on performing user acceptance testing, training, and migrations to avoid risk when implementing an OnBase solution. Join us for this session to answer these questions and more.

3. Crafting the OnBase End User’s Experience

Sunday and Monday, 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

For more seasoned admins, keeping your OnBase system efficient and relevant is key to the success of your organization, and keeping users happy is always a major part of that challenge. After years of working with hundreds of customers, the User Experience Team has discovered many common steps and missteps to improving the usability of your OnBase system.

Join the User Experience Team as they highlight lessons learned. Discover how to leverage that knowledge and their research techniques to improve and grow your own solutions.

Expert stations

From Tuesday until Thursday, CommunityCentral will be buzzing with partners, vendors, and dozens of expert stations. These stations are all staffed by knowledgeable and friendly Hyland staff, ready to answer questions and show you the latest and greatest of OnBase 17 and beyond.

From sales to installations, services to tech support, we want to hear what you have to say about Hyland, our product, and our people.

Understanding how UX positions you and your organization is key to your continued success. These classes and stations are just a few of the ways we’ll be showcasing that at CommunityLIVE 2017.
