3 ways to elevate your game at OTTC14

I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that even though I’m not a huge soccer fan, I love the World Cup.

So, in the spirit of underdogs elevating their games, here are three ways your team can become champions in 2014.

1. Attend OTTC in person

Since OTTC (OnBase Training and Technology Conference) is our biggest gathering of the year, of course we’ll send out important recaps and make videos available to our customers on Community. But there really is nothing like the experience of networking face-to-face with more than a thousand OnBase administrators and end users.

Not only will you learn new strategies for providing robust security for a million or more documents, but you can also find out how others are using enterprise content management (ECM) to advance key corporate initiatives.

For example, optimizing processes to boost profitability. That always gets a cheer from the crowd.

2. Choose sessions wisely

Of course, you’ll want to make the most out of the experience.

But to be honest, OTTC is a lot like the World Cup 2014. It’s impossible even for a super-fan to fly thousands of miles across Brazil to attend every single game.

Likewise, you can’t attend all 200 sessions at OTTC. Our advice is to take a good look at the session list in advance and make a plan. Talk to your peers and management to see what they think might help your team grow stronger.

3. Score your own hat trick

Every winning team has an all-star. By attending OTTC, you’ll increase your professional prowess by learning how to reduce operating costs, improve customer service and minimize risks. Now that’s a return on investment.

OTTC14 takes place September 14 – 18 in Orlando, Florida. Are you ready to elevate your game?
