Fall Hy-Tech Club is now open for registration!

We are pleased to announce that the application process for the fall 2017 semester of Hyland’s Hy-Tech Club is now open. The Club is a free program for students in grades 7 through 12 who want to learn about computer programming.

What you’ll learn

If you’re interested in the field of computer science, the Hy-Tech Club is a great way to learn about various coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and programming in general. It’s also a great place to meet other students who share common interests.

I think of our technical outreach programs as “win-win” situations. We offer students a way to learn about computer science, and we offer our employees a way to get involved in the community.

The details

Please note, there are now separate applications for new students and former Hy-Tech Club students. Students only need to submit one application.

Applications are due Friday, September 1.

You can find the applications and all the details on our website. Students must complete the applications themselves, in their own words. We are asking that parents do not fill out the application for their children.

We will use the email addresses students provide to notify them whether or not they were accepted on Friday, September 8, 2017.

If you have any questions, please use the comments below. Thank you and good luck!
